Being strong in our own power has no longevity.
We need the power of Christ at work in us to see us through. It’s not about us being, it’s about us knowing.
2 Corinthians 12:9 – “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
Psalms 121:1-8 tells us the Lord will not let our feet slip, he watches over us and does not sleep, He is our shade, nothing will harm us.
We do not need to try to do anything in our own power. Be glad in your weaknesses and allow Christ’s power to rest on you. Know that all of your needs are met and every ounce of strength you need, day by day comes from Him. When you know Him, you don’t have to worry about being Him.
He will keep us when we are weak. It is promised. Where will you post this as your reminder?
